Ceremonies are a celebration of life and relationships. They honour all those events in our lives that we want to sanctify. Hilary Franklin can advise & support you as well as facilitate your ceremony. Our society today supports diversity so that we are not bound by a common spiritual tradition. This enables us to create a bespoke ceremony or ritual to suit your own personal needs. Through the personal service that she can offer, Hilary can share her expertise with you to help you achieve your dream.

NAMING CEREMONIES Having a child can often change the way you see the world. A naming ceremony gives parents the opportunity to announce in a dedicated and personal ceremony the next generation of their family. It gives their nearest and dearest the opportunity to meet together and celebrate this most precious gift, their child. It is a ceremony with a sacred element for those parents who wish to pledge their love and everlasting commitment to their children without having to go through the religious formality of a christening. It is an opportunity to make promises to the children in the presence of family witnesses. It also holds an opportunity for other chosen adults to give pledges to your children and act as mentors throughout their lives. NEW HOMES/BUSINESSES Many people choose to have blessings in their new homes to mark the beginning of a new cycle. In collaboration with you as the client, an inclusive ceremony/ritual is designed so that all participants can relate to what is being said and celebrated. The ceremony can be spiritual or secular in nature; traditional or contemporary and everything between being a celebration within an intimate and relaxed family gathering or a more formal occasion. LIFE TRANSITIONS - WEDDING ANNIVERSARIES, COMING OF AGE, REUNIONS, ENDINGS There are many life transitions, beginnings and endings which need to be honoured in the form of a ritual/celebration. You are welcome to compose your own ceremony which I will facilitate or I can create it for you under your direction. Together we set the intention, design the structure and then the magic follows.
